being that i'm from europe, my whole family plays soccer, recently while i was watching the world cup i kinda got into it, soo is it too late for me to try and be a professional in the future, i mean im 14 and im really new to the game.......

It's never too late. Soccer is a healthy pastime and good excercise.
It is NOT, however, a sport.

definitely not too late. don't worry about those fast-trackers (kids who started at 3 or 4), most of them get caught up around your age. just dedicate yourself to training hard, learning all that you can, and developing your skills. try to find players/competitions that challenge you, but not so much that you can't learn. it's a hard road, and involves a lot of sacrifice, but great skill is its own reward; even if you don't become a professional, you will enjoy developing your skills, and enjoy playing.

to be professsional??? YES too late most of the profesionals were born with a soccer ball next to them they've been playin all their lifes so. GIVE IT UP BOY!!! you can still play in high school though

I don't think that being 14 is too late to start. You have to have excellent eye-shoot coordination and to be able to run fast, plus find a good coatch.

hey no it's not to late becaues you can start to play soccer. i'm girl and i live in America and i love soccer so much and i'm a girl and i'm 14 and also i'm going to play when school starts.
