haha one last thing - NASCAR? thats only for u american pps...here in australia - we mite get it but hell its we barely hear bout it. im sure they wouldnt have heard it in Africa either. so it cant really be called the WORLDs best sport

your right. It has a way of bringing people together for a game that is cheap and easy to play. Even when Italy won, we had French supporters waving flags in Little Italy, we shook each others hands and just said, "good game." The same when we beat the Germans a week ago.
It's the way things sould be.

Baseball .. red Sox ... i will claim i replaced right into a basketball fan (sorry .. Celtics) yet with all the attitudes flying round on the court, then the great strike some years lower back, I lost it ... and the Celtics were very depressing looking on the starting up of this season my son advised me i wanted to show screen the Celtics w/ this new crew ... Kevin Garnett were given me hook .. those adult males easily bypass the ball, set up performs, etc ... and now (i do not get to show screen each pastime) they can actually have a sturdy possibility to play properly interior the playoffs ... so it has my pastime word: I coached my daughters CYO basketball crew years in the past ... had thrilling gazing the youngsters have thrilling.. and massive sportsmanship ... even one a large style of video games)

I don't know if its truly the world's best but its certainly the most exciting event, lots of ups and downs and plenty of nervous tension especially during the penalty shoot outs, I really hate that, its so quiet out there and you can feel the tension, its unbearable to watch but then when your team gets it, the release of the emotion is unbelievable!!! You don't even have to be at the stadium to feel the excitement and the juberance of it all, it must be even more exciting and satisfying for the players!!!

It really is, no question. It's the best because more people play AND watch it than any other sport. It's also the best because it's very exciting and that it carries tremendous national pride and hope to the international level which is something that not many other sports can claim.

I totally agree with you!!!
Football is easy to understand and exciting to watch. Plus, a football game doesn't go on forever like other sport games, so it's also practical.
