My kids and I went camping this weekend, and they went swimming and sliding in a natural waterslide. The rocks were slate, and there was some algae on them, so when the kids went sliding down, their suits got algae on them. I soaked them in cold water right away, and when we got home, I treated them with Oxy Clean. I then washed them in ERA three times in cold water, and to no avail. I cannot get it out. Does anyone know what will work? HELP ME PLEASE. I wouldn't really care so much, but as a single mom of 3 I am limited on funds, and the suits are brand new.

Put them in your aquarium and let the algae eater suck them out between the threads. The little "sucker" will be tickled pink.

Then again, a pink algae eater may look a little strange.

Prepare your clothes for washing like usual. But treat items in question with a good algae-side

Try soaking them in apple cider vinegar. At this point let them soak over night. Maybe use 2 to 3 cups of vinegar.
