Yeah, UTEP looks to be pretty good this year. Being from Memphis, UTEP was basically the only new league member I was excited to see join last season. I still can't believe we pulled it out against you guys last year (that has to go down in history as the best run DeAngelo Williams ever ran in college--anyone who saw the game knows what I'm talking about).

I saw a recent publication that basically had you, So. Miss, and Houston right there at the top in the West. I like how this league looks pretty competitive all the way around this season.

I just wish you guys could harvest Tim Hardaway's DNA and come back to some basketball glory...we need some more teams to step up in hoops.

Personally, I wish C-USA would actually reduce the # of league teams, I think it would be a stronger conference to drop some of the weak sisters and go with 8-10 of the best teams. Rice and SMU, definately.

It's good to see UTEP doing better. I hope it continues, and maybe they can win a Conference USA Championship and actually win a bowl game.

Sorry, but winning Conference USA is like winning the Atlantic Division in the NBA. You might have a title and a banner you can hang up, but it really doesn't mean you're any good.
