Depends on what you are most interested in ...
Crowdedness tends to lean towards the Magic Kingdom for the sheer fact that it is the central theme park that caters to the general public.
I enjoyed EPCOT, especially The Living Seas and The World Showcase. Also, since I am a movie fanatic, Disney MGM has been a solid visit as well. My family found Animal Kingdom to be a fun visit, but has its limitations at this time. I nor any of my family has ever been to either of the beach parks.
A couple side bonuses that you may enjoy include Downtown Disney (free entrance - it is a series of shops and restaurants), The Disney Boardwalk, and even Disney Mini-Golf. There are several other spots that many visitors do not take advantage of, so check out the WDW main website and explore other options (which could also help the wallet).

epcot is my absolute favorite park. I could spend my whole disney vacation there. although, animal kingdom has a really nifty safari you can go on.
the first time I went to disney world, mgm studio was the newest park, so that was the most crowded. another time I went, animal kingdom was the newest so that was really crowded. I think the last time I was there, there were no new parks, so the magic kingdom was the most popular.

Epcot is my favorite (even though I hate Disney parks) and MGM and Magic Kingdom seem to be the most crowded.

Epcot was my favorite and the magic kingdom was the most crowded because of all the 3-7 year olds and their parents.

It is so hard to pick one, but the answer for me for both questions is the Magic Kingdom. There are so many fun rides (Pirates of the Caribbean, Haunted Mansion, Space Mtn. are my favs) and the characters are everywhere. The biggest drawback is the fact that it is so crowded. Our last trip we actually got caught in a traffic jam of bodies near the It's a small World ride. Epcot is a VERY close second, and not nearly as crowded.

My favorite is the Magic Kingdom, but I also love MGM Studios. It depends on when you go, and what time you go if the crowds are going to be busy, but usually the Magic Kingdom is the busiest.

I haven't been in a while. Magic Kingdom rocked b/c it had the castle, and it was the center of all things Disney. EPCOT was cool b/c it had all the countries, plus the futuristic stuff. I enjoyed all of them because Disney really really immerses you in a faraway "concept" land and does a good job of taking care of you while you are there.
I can't say anything of the crowds.

EPCOT is the best, I feel.
MGM gets really crowded, quickly, at least the last time I was there.
I worked as a cast member in '89/'90, and have been back as a guest at least every few years. . .I never tire of the Magic in that area - and hopefully never will!
