I like a lot of movie themes. Would be hard to pick. Rocky has a good one. The Good, The Bad, The Ugly of course. The Godfather, Superman, 2001: A Space Odyssey. I agree with T2, Star Wars. I always liked the themes from Fargo and Raising Arizona. The James Bond theme. And the classic Peanuts theme "Linus and Lucy."

There are some great ones above. I love Somewhere in Time, but I will note the piece was written by Rachmanov (spelling?) rather than being done for the movie specifically. I would have to go with The Wizard of Oz and Somewhere Over the Rainbow which won the academy award in 1939. It's hard to believe that the song was almost cut (thank goodness they reconsidered) and that it was the only award that movie won (but there was a lot of competition that year). It's amazing, too, how popular that song still is today, and how many renditions there are...even on American Idol! (and Star Search in the old days)

Right know, my fave movie theme song would be Michael Buble's Home (the soundtrack of the movie Wedding Date, starring Dermot Mulroney & Debra Messing), but my most remembered movie theme song or music is the one from The Godfather.. I don't even know the title, but I kinda like it..
