i work at Lowe's and we carry this hose reel that will reel itself ... its hydro-powered. now I'm not sure how it works..but i do know that it does work b/c of people coming back and telling me how much they like it. it costs about 70-80$ but will hold i think up to 100-200 ft of hose.
for some cheaper ways.. you can find some pottery like holders that you just wind the hose in yourself and they stay in pretty neatly until ready to use again. the wall mounted ones are alright but you have to watch out for the flimsy ones. make sure that you get the right containing apparatus for your hose... don't try to coil up a heavy duty hose or a self-straightening hose b/c it'll be near impossible.

With the male end on the ground make a two foot circle with the hose. Continue feeding the hose through your hands winding (clock wise) until completed. When you use it the next time just grab the female end and walk to the place you want to water. Try not to twist it as you unwind. It will be easier to rewind.

If you don't use a hose reel to wind it up, remember that hoses have a memory. When coiling it up you must twist it to it's memory or it won't coil up nicely. Sometimes it can be a pain and gets me swearing. But patience perseveres :-)
Good luck.

Cleaning and laundry LOL that's brilliant xD Personally I attempted to shave my 'lady garden' a couple of times but as I couldn't see what I was doing and could barely reach I ended up making things worse and cutting myself a few times - ouch. I just leave it now, doctors aren't gonna care what your 'lady garden' looks like, they have seen all sorts of different styles and won't bat an eyelid at one that is overgrown (I think it's kinda expected in pregnancy lol).
