.com in a web address means "commercial". This meaning that a company, individual, or party has some commercialized intent to either sell you things or in any ay have you spend money.
.org means "organization". Most orgranizations use this extension. Some examples are nonprofit organizations.
.gov is obviously a "government" page. Like fafasa.gov.
There's also other extensions, like .net, .info, .nl, .com.cn, .dv, etc.

It's the address that your credit company send you your bills. Often times in on-line transactions, components of the address is compared to the address your credit card companies have on file (zip code for sure, maybe even city or numeric portion of the address) as an extra layer of authentication to prove that you are in fact the proper owner of the card, and not just somoene who's stolen a purse the day before.
