It would hurt way worse than razor burn, try using some baby oil. That always helped me.

I don't believe you should listen to your acquaintances. You are misinformed. Rubbing alcohol will definitely cause your skin to irritate, and dry out. Why not use a shaving gel with a sensitive razor?. After which you can apply some cocoa butter lotion or some other kind that will give you enough moisture. Hydrogen Peroxide is pretty much good for everything. Such as: cuts, ulcers, scratches and some people even uses it as a mouth wash/antiseptic. However, alcohol is way too harsh especially if your skin is sensitive. Take care of your skin, at least ....it's yours.

Don't put alcohol on your skin! You want to soothe your skin, not dry it out or cause more pain. Try 100% Aloe Vera gel. It's moisturizing, soothing and allows your skin to breathe. If your skin is dry, you can try Curel Natural Healing (with cucumber, aloe and green tea), or something similar to it. The best thing is to keep razor burn from happening in the first place. You need a slick surface and comfortable razor. I use Aveeno fragrance free body wash and Venus Vibrance razor. They work very well.

No it will hurt and dry your skin out. Use a shaving cream and a good razor. Don't forget the lotion after. Most razor burn is related to a dull razor.

Whoa!!!!! Stop there. You'll get more burns from the alcohol. Also it will dry out your skin. Use a cream like cocoa butter.

You should use a cream , cocoa butter or vaseline instead of alcohol.
Alcohol tends to cause CHLORACNE when you apply it to shaved (damaged) skin.
