Don't worry about it.

As best that I can tell from talking to people of many different ages...

"OLD" can be best defined as 20 years older than you are today.

To a 5 year old, 25 is "OLD"
To the 25 year old, 45 is "OLD"
To the 45 year old, 65 is "OLD"

So, you'll probably never be "OLD", at least not in your own mind!

We are all growing older every second! Are you afraid of dying, or are you afraid that you will one day look less like a magazine cover model?

Choose to enjoy life, and explore interesting things and experience new sensations! You will trade tight skin and strong knees for the wisdom of ages and inner peace. I think it is a good deal.

No but I have become aware of the importance of staying in good physical condition so that life is easier on you as you grow older.

Older is not a bad thing, it has many merits that one usually does not conceive of in their younger years. For instance you have more experience to help you weigh your decisions.

Your reference to time changes as you compare your past time to current time, in other words it "seems" to goes faster. I guess that is why we value it more as we mature.

etc.... So all told. It's OK. Just try to stay well and try your best to stay in touch with your inner self so that you have more good days than bad as time passes by.

Don't get hooked on wrinkles, it is only God putting on the final perfecting brush strokes. And don't worry about balding, it is just your wisdom showing through.

One final thought if I may, a fragrant rose in full bloom is most desirable because it displays the full beauty of what a rose is truly meant to be. That only comes with age.

Yeah, sometimes I do get scared of getting older. Don't most people? There're just so many things that we can't predict and new experiences that might be difficult. And, of course, not to be completely morbid, but there's always death looming off in the distance.

I deal with it by thinking to myself that there's nothing I can do to prevent the unknown from happening, so I just live life to the fullest.

I'm not so much afraid of getting older it's the lack of what I don't have as I get older. Such as marriage and a family.

No because I believe the older you get the more mature and wiser you get. That's sounds good to me. I remember being a very lost, angry and confused teenager. I'm glad thoses days are gone and I am left with more wisdom about life, others and self.

yes and no.im 48 and im scared of looking like my mom.she looks hella aweful and sickly.and it seems older people somehow close thier minds to new and better ideas about life and relationships.i dont date men my age coz that and the older they get the worse they are in bed.i know from personal experience that keeping a young mind also keeps you healthier and happier.im not afraid of dying coz ive died 3 times.it was a peaceful warm feeling.i just plain dont get along well withpeople my age coz they set in thier ways and dont like to try new things in life.keeping active in body and mind makes you age slower i think.im 48 and look like in my 30,s.i take a crap load of vitamins and herbs.

Yes, I am afraid time will pass me by and before you know it my time on earth will be at an end and I will be afraid that I missed out on time with my children. It scares me that one day I won't be here for them.
