poor quality and the tag inside is usually different and may say something like made in china. or if there is a "designer" tag, if it looks cheap... it isn't real.

The real things have serial numbers inside the bag or on a leather tag inside . The stitching should be straight and neat. Feel the fabric/ leather material to make sure it is real. The real things last much longer and are quality. If you just want a fake that appears the same design, they are OK for the cheap price.

When the seems look loose, the handle feels like plastic, or the outside is rough. If the design looks blurry or the metal parts and buckles feel light. Also if the designer's name is no were on the bag. Don't go for a cheeper bag unless you know it was an original marked down.

Poor sewing....cheap looking buckles, are just cheap looking craftmanship are dead giveaways. But if you just want to look like you have money, then often most people are none the wiser.
