It’s a small city in Was co County Oregon consisting of 0.6 miles that is all land. In 2000 the population was 588 and is a farming community with wheat being the most important crop along with grapes and fruit trees. In August there is a threshing bee celebrating the agriculture economy. That includes demonstrated horse-drawn harvesting equipment and a steam tractor that powers a belt-driven threshing machine. Sounds like a pleasant place to live if there are things to do there or close by. That is if everyone minds their own business which is seldom done in a small town.
