The country is great because we can debate and disagree?
I'm a con and I'll be the first to admit that I think Most lib idea's are just flat out dumb.
But this is one of the few countries in the world where we can have this difference in opinions and not have to worry about mysteriously disappearing or worse.

I believe in lower taxes, less government programs, and protecting the country.
Libs unfortunately believe the opposite. But we are all Americans here, except the illegals.
Con's want you to know the truth, libs want to bury the truth.
I feel I'm a capable person able to make my own decision's and prepare for my retirement. Libs say I need to be taken care of be cause I'm a victim. Of what I don't know.

I do like Bethie's Idea but, the draw back to that one is that when the hurricanes hit they would claim to be victims and say we owe them, even though we had nothing to do with it.

We should not split up the country now or ever. Dictators, fascists, and communists want a consensus so that there can be a utopia for a select few. Democracy demands diverse opinions and constant discourse. Even within the supposed liberal and conservative sides there are extremely differing opinions. Preserve the union.

Ok, but I'm with the folks above who want to claim the west coast for the Libertarians and moderates.

The conservatives can have east of the Rockies through the Heartland and the South, and give the democrats the Northeast. I'll miss New Hampshire, but it's a small price to pay if that means we get to stop the political bickering.

Sounds like a good deal to me. The western half has most of the oil and coal.

The eastern half has most of the brown fields (ground pollution).

Old joke. Why does NJ have the most brown fields and California the most lawyers? Because NJ had the first choice.

Yes divide it immediatly! Only let the right column have the right half and the left wing have the left half. Besides all of us bleedin' liberals live in California anyway and most of you fascist rednecks live in the southeastern states.

I'm ready and willing to take the first watch to make sure you Sons o' Hitler don't come back , too.

It is not quite that simple. Remember that the larger cities tend to be more liberal and the country tends to be more conservative. Besides, the liberals want to save the environment so we will give them the Southwest and the Dakotas to save that environment. Also, they do not want any energy sources that are harmful to the environment so we will allow them to ride horse and have no electricity, no fires, no lights since all can cause harm to the environment. We will also allow them to form their own communes and live out socialist lives where no one has to work any harder than they want and see how long they can live.

Dividing a country is good if there is really a valid reason. But if it will only benefit the politicians, the people should vote against it. Dividing a country could only lead to another revolution resulting to chaos and destruction.

No way!! Libs can have the North east, but we get the south/west. Libs don't get florida.

But, if we are going to divide the country, i say the conservatives just take the whole thing, after all, the libs don't have guns.

What's wrong with a two party system? It's all about keeping the other guys in check.

Now if you want to start dividing the counrty, well, it has been done before during the American Civil War.

George Bush has pretty well divided the country as it is. There are not very many that say he is just alright, you either love him or hate him. Sort of like liver. Except liver has a use and I have no use for George Bush.
