I played around with a friend when we were around 6 or 7. I did not really know what sex was until I was 21! I grew up in the Dark Ages. :D But I think I always knew that I was way more attracted to guys than women. Good question.

wow, what an awesome question. I was always kinda curious myself. Lets see...I officially came out at the age of 23...I knew I really liked girls at the age of 16. But the strange thing is I can remember my 1st grade crush being a girl. I had different sexual crush throughout the years...3rd grade I had a crush on a boy. I find both sexes very attractive but sexually I can only imagine myself with women. I have never really been a girly girly yet a butchy butchy...I was kinda in between so I guess you can say its been a real pain in the *** to figure out what exactly I am "labeled". To answer your question though, I think I always knew I was gay, just didnt know how to accept it, when i thought it was all normal.

Hey, great question!!!! You know, you have a very open mind. well, ever since I can remember, I've known I was different. i couldn't just put my finger on it, but for some reason,as my friends, who were all male, liked another friends sister, i liked that other friend. For years, I tried to hide it. But, after a while, your self-esteem turns to ****, so i decided to come out during a suprise party my family threw for my 18th birthday. After that , I realized everyone knew already, but was waiting until I said something. Apprently, I've been gay since birth, and I'm okay with that. Being gay is the most beautiful thing on Earth. I think it had to be around 8 yrs old. Im not going to go into detail but let's just say that I "discovered" myself and others very early. I don't think I knew what to call myself until 12 years old. For a while in high school I kept it in until my junior year. That was the year I told my my mom that I liked chicks. According to her I'm bi, but that's a whole other story. So to answer your question I say about 12 when I knew the catagory I was in and about 16 when I accepted it.
see ya

i think that i've been gay or bi my whole life, i just realized it at the age of 15 when i got excited watching a picture of a naked man. now i'm 21 and i have never even kissed a man, 2 be true i just had my first crush on a guy 2 moths ago, and that's enough reason 2 consider coming out.

I remember that I kissed a boy when I was 10 behind our house. I have never looked at girls at all but realized that I was to be put in a group called "gay people" when I turned 13. As most people around me only liked girls.

I was 7....played around with one of my friends....he told his mom, we all had a little EMBARRASING conference. Up until that point I knew I liked boys but I never realized it COULD be a negative thing. When did I come out....10 years later. When was I absolutley sure I was gay.....in middle school. Everyone could notice something about me that was different. Growing up in the midwest and being "different" is never a good combination. Why did I wait so long to come out? Never had a reason to. When I was 17 though....I had a serious boyfriend. I was willing to lie about myself, but not to lie about someone I cared so much for. 4 years later....we are still together.

Well, ever since I was like small around the age of 9 or 10 I knew I was different from the other guys and girl in my school. I didn't really consider it being gay or bisexual, but I knew from the start that I was different. I'm 16 right now, and not until I was 14.5 did I start realizing that I was a bisexual. And, not until now am I starting to accept who I am. A few close friends know, and all of them are okay with it.

Oh wow!! What a cool question and there are no bigitrous, mindless posts from someone closed-minded!!
I first thought that I was gay at about 14 or 15. I was always watching the guys and thinking about them. Took me til I was 29 before I realized what it all meant and I came to grips with it all. I thought following what my parents wanted was important......PPPFFFTTTT!!!!!
I have two beautiful kids from when I was married that my partner and I are raising together. They are cool with it and my ex-wife has no problems with it either. She is involved in their lives and keeps in contact with them.
Now if I can just find out how to get rid of the association between my parents and myself, I'll be truely happy.
