All but the one meal a day is very good.
I would recommend; a light breakfast consisting of fruit and/or yogurt (maybe a cup of whole wheat cereal), a lunch emphasizing veggies and grains (try to eat whole grains; white flour, pasta, and rice are not as nutritious), and then a vegetable-based dinner (with fats and protiens, especially in the form of meat, fish, or beans).
If you get hungry in between eat a little snack; carrots for example.
Eating one meal a day can slow down your metabolism and make it harder to lose weight, as well as make you hungry (and likely to sneak in unhealthy food).
If you are trying to eat less in general, try this; instead of eating your usual portion, eat about half and the take a short break to let the food expand, walk around a little bit. You may find yourslef satisfied with smaller portions.
And as a last note; make sure you are taking good care of your body; don't overeat, but dont starve yourself. Good luck.

Everything sounds great except for the one meal per day rule... A good thing to follow is the Canada Food Guide or the American equivalent. It'll tell you how many servings of each food group to have.
Serving sizes can be tricky. I've found that normally a serving size of something is as big as your fist (eg. a medium sized apple counts as one fruit serving). If it helps, make a daily chart with little check boxes for each food group so you can keep track of how many servings you've had so far.
Also be sure to drink about 2L of water each day... sounds like a lot but it's easy once you get into the habit.
On a personal note, at 15 I don't think you should be worried about "dieting." Following the food guide, however, is a great way to lead a healthier lifestyle!
Good luck!

Your list looks great up until the end. Eating one meal a day isn't a good move, it's more like the start of an eating disorder. For your body to be healty and continue growth, you need to eat at least three meals a day, preferably five smaller ones.
Good luck!

you need to eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner! your basically anorexic if you only eat a little bit and walk a lot (excersize)
a healthy way to lose weight is to 1.) eat right..that means you can portion out your meals, and if you want to go to the trouble, count calories
2.) excersize! but not like...5 hours a day or something...maybe an hour a day is good.
3.) dont eat tons of junk! you dont have to deny yourself the pleasures in life..just dont gorge on them
4.) be active! this follows with number 2

The first four sound safe. But eating only one meal a day will cause your body to go into starvation mode and it will make it harder to lose weight.
Its better to have several small meals of healthy snacks throughout the day.
