It's cute when my 7 month old baby blows raspberries, but she does it excessivley. I mean she can go all day doing this, sometimes it doesn't seem normal. Don't get me wrong, she is a smart baby and is doing everything she is supposed to be doing at this age. I just wanted to know if anyone elses baby does this a lot?
(I am a first time mom so please take it easy on me.)

It's normal, and oh so cute! My son does it he he almost 8 months. He used to do it all the time but now he does this tongue twisting thing.
She will stop once she finds something new she can do. I would just encourage her to do other things like say mama or dada over and over. If you say it alot she will start to also. Also blow raspberries at her she will think it is so funny! Just enjoy all her little baby quirks, they won't last long.

As soon as she moves on to her next new accomplishment, she'll stop. Babies spend a ton of time perfecting what they just learned. Take comfort that she is learning so many things that she'll let something else catch her attention quickly. Also, she probably has teeth coming in, (even if she already has some or if you cant see any yet) and that makes her drool more, so she is being creative with it!

I'm 33 and still blow raspberries. You mean I should have grown out of this? I'm so ashamed.

When she finds a new trick to show off. Sorry! She's a proud learner....give her time, she'll find something else to do soon
