I think school should be 12 hours a day, 7 days a week, try and educate these little bastards

In China the kids at the private school I taught at were on 10 days and off 4. They went to school almost all day long. They seemed happy too. It was kind of sad though because if their parents didn't have enough money the kids didn't get to see their parents except for a couple times during the school year. There were kids that were only 3 or 4 there too. They lived in rooms without heat or a/c in groups of about 7 or 8 and shared a bathroom with kids from 5 other rooms. They had dorm mommies that were young women, about 20-25 years old. They were super strict there too. The kids would bribe us(the foriegn teachers) to smuggle them in junk food which of course, being Americans, we did.

your stupid!!!how would u like it if you went to school that long.get a life A$$ WIPE...as it is they go 7-8 hours a day 5 days a week some kids then have to go to day care (another type of schooling)

Well now I couldn't disagree with this one. U.S. public schools are so far behind the rest of the world, it'd take that much work just to catch up.
