I'm with you. I go to the theater to watch movies, not listen to my kids, my wife, nor anyone else's progeny blab, fart, or whatever else. I love the sound and impact of the movies. Give me a theater with the demand of viewer silence and courtesy, and I'll pay more to attend.

Everything but eating,,,, yes.. I agree. Seems like i always sit in front of the group of teenagers who think they should talk the whole movie.. Not racist but its usauly the black girls. They cant shut up. I think Scarry Movie showed it best. That girl wouldnt shut up the whole movie.
Oh and on top of that the assholes usinga cell phone in a theatre.. I was watching some movie a while back and i could hear the guy down at the bottom of the stairs talking on his ******* cell phone over the damn movie. and he was 5 feet from the screen.
If you gonna talk during a movie have respect for others and wishper.

Last time I went to the movie theater was to see I robot, there was a family of five sitting in front of me, parents and 3 children their youngest child (must've been about 4 kept turning around and looking at me, talking to me and getting up so I couldn't see. When I asked their father to please do something about it he yelled at me saying what do you want me to do he's 4 years old. I would love to be able to go to a movie theater where kids aren't allowed unless it's a cartoon movie, no food, I'm sick of fat people getting up in the middle of the movie to get an other greasy hot dog. It's a great idea.

Yes Yes Yes, and the no eating rule would be inforced with fines and all. I cant stand to be sitting in the theater, with a ticket I just paid waaay to much for, and have Cpt. Can't chew with his mouth closed and his slack jawed children flapping thier mouths to the tune of a jumbo sized popcorn that they OF COURSE get refilled mid-way thru the flick so I get the benefit of listening to the ENTIRE conversation they have about this because they have no idea how to speak in any way that even resembles a whisper!
whew... yes, I agree with you and would pay double to go to such a theater.

I would love a theater like that, but what is a movie without popcorn and candy. I could however go to a theater that has food and drink at more economical prices!

I agree especially leave the babies at home I don't want to hear crying thru the whole movie it's better to just get pirated movies then you don't have to put up with loud people in the theater

I agree with you most of the way but I gotta share my nachos and popcorn with my wife. That is 2nd best reason we go to the movies at least twice a month if good movies are out. Otherwise, I hate seeing bratty loud kids, cellphone users and people snoring loudly.

I think there should be a limit to the noise, yeah, but not total silence. What if you had to sneeze or cried out loud or laughed out loud? They need today what they used to have - ushers who walked up and down the aisles during the movie and told people who were doing all the things you mentioned to be quiet or leave.

Yes Hell Yes and can we discuss the popcorn If they're not smacking on it as loud as is humanly possible they're throwing it in the air trying to catch it in they're mouth what is that? People refuse to believe that any one there might want to enjoy the movie why don't they just stay home and wait for it to come out on video

no! except for eating. I hate when people talk. also, whenever somebody needs to go a bathroom for instance, they go were the screens are. it blocks the others views! some movies go blank and then get on again! but the good thing is, u don't have commercials while u watch the movie.

I disagree with everything except the small, mouthy children. Otherwise it would be like watching a movie at home: boring.
