i can't live a day without being online it feels like i haven't done something exclusively important like eating. Lol. I'm being honest.

Yes I could. Because years ago computers were not as popular as they are now especially with the advent of the Internet as an added attraction. When I am off line I engage in other pleasurable entertainment that brings me much enjoyment. If all the computers in the world crashed let's say for possibly a day; it wouldn't faze me one bit!
I do not feel as sad as you do because it isn't an obsession with me. I think that that is your problem and you need to develop other interests in life or take up a particular hobby like sky diving or something tamer like bowling. Just a thought. No offense intended!

I go online for about 1 hour per day. Our society is in a serious crisis when people become so dependent on modern technology like cell phones & the internet.

I wouldn't like it, but I could live without internet. I can't even stand it when our internet is down for a couple of hours. I like knowing it is there when I don't have anything else to do. Plus without it I can't work which really messes up things! I would have to quit working at home.

On the weekend, I could definitely live without it. But it's much more interactive/informative than T.V. I'd be bored to death if I couldn't go online during the week.

no i couldn't live being offline i get p***ed if i don't check e-mails after 2 days max. I'm online now because i am working night shift and there is nothing else to do

Yes, and I would get a lot more work done. (I go online in work and go out away from the computer in the evenings)

its easy to get addidcted to yahoo messenger and think there is no life other than that on line and start calling people youve never met or seen good or great friends belive me ive been there.
