My husband died of lung cancer almost 3 yrs ago. Our kids are now 10 and 14. Watching him for 3 months in the fight of his life was awful. He went from a strong man with a strong heart to virtually helpless. I did everything I could to hold onto him, but it became hopeless. The last thing I said to him was "I love you",he replied "For always". he was gone seconds later. Hopeless.

Yes there was one time when my bestfriend was going to commit suicide and I didn't know what to do. But then it hit me what to do. I told her about things which bought back good memories and the hate in which she had in her mind, slowly deminished. I talked to her even though I tried to be strong but I broke down, and so did she I poured my heart and soul in persuasion for her not to do it, because she was like my little sister, thats how close we are. We accepted each other like family, and hearing that was like a tonne of bricks falling on me. But now she's since we talked out things and I talked her out of it as well I thank God that she listened.

How about going from owning a company, big house, being worth over a million $, to losing your house, money, and family. Being homeless and facing criminal charges for stuff I didn't do. Being bankrupt and penniless. After having been earning 250 K a year.

Try that one on for size.

Ya but the worst thing you can do is give in to self doubt. The key is to keep plugging away even if the odds are stacked against you, and hey if you lose you lose you'll be stronger in the end and you know you gave it you best shot. That's all you can ask of yourself

right now, i owe about $12,000 in medical bills that have all been turned over to collection agencies. one of them called me today and wanted to set up a payment plan. sounds all good, but she wants me to pay $175 a month. if i pay that, my family doesn't eat. but if i don't pay it, it gets turned over to the court and my credit is history, which means we can never buy a house. right now the money situation feels hopeless, but there isn't anything i can do about it, so why worry.

yes, when I found out he really wanted to dump me even I said I'm willing to be the 3rd party.

I feel like the end of the world. Like wanted to end my life. Just don't dare to do it.

Anyway, keep on talking to people, don't hide, and you will feel that in this world, there is still people cares!

Yes...it's usually with trying to help someone who won't or doesn't know how to help themselves. There's only so much you can do "for" a person and at some point they need to be able and willing to help themselves. It's not easy watching someone you care about destroy their own life.
