On my Toyota, there are 3 little bumps on the headlights, what are they for? I see them on many cars' headlights.

they are used to attach to tool to properly aim your lights. the tool has a bubble level that is centered.

Heh. You'd think they serve some kind of purpose or something wouldn't you! But sadly nothing so interesting. They are simply a remainder of the injection molding of the molten glass during manufacturing. Sigh.
Just a note to all the people giving you the WRONG answer about it being a guide for the suction tool that aligns your headlights. Its not for that. The suction device works on all models of headlights, nipples or no.

Look, dude...they're for leveling...the headlights without these 'nipples' have a level on the back side of the housing to help you adjust them...if they were 'breathers' or what the f*ck ever, then why aren't they on ALL the headlights, tail lights, etc? Think about it.

To indicate American standard headlights - there are no nipples in Europe.

they are reference points to mount a suction cup style headlight aimer. the alignment arms sit on the bumps

I think it's a support or something. In plastic pails, you would see vertical fins to prevent the pail from deformation. A monobloc chair also has fins below it.

when they mold a headlight, they have to let it breathe to prevent explosion. FOR REAL

there is a tool for adjusting the aim of your headlamps and these nipples are where the tool rests for proper calibration
