forms of id for work?

i got no california id nor my social secrutiy card right now and my job asked for 2 forms of id. can u please name some forms of id i could use. would my student id work?

You need to have either a valid state ID, a social security card, or a birth certificate. Your student ID would not work because it does not show that you have legal status in the US.

Employers have to fill out an I-9 form.

To complete this you need only one form of ID ifyou have a US Passport, Certificate of US Citizenship, Permanent resident card, unexpired temporrary resident card, ..

or 2 forms of ID you need one from each list below :
1) License, IDcard, school ID, US military id,
2) SScard; Birth certificate issued by a US state;
