What video game would you like to see turned into a movie?

There were several RPG's on the Saturn that would rock as movies or even miniseries, such as "Albert Odyssey" and "Dragon Force." A more popular game series that would make a good movie (if Hollywood didn't screw things up) is "Soul Caliber."

Conker:live and reloaded, Far Cry, Half-Life2, Breakdown, Gears of War(maybe), Earthworm Jim(made into a cartoon, but cancelled. It was funny though.) Ghost Recon, Rainbow Six, Gun, Fable, GTA(maybe), Elder Scrolls(maybe)and Brothers in Arms. Halo and Splinter Cell should be out next year.

Meh....

You and your fancy new-school polygonal first-person shooting and linear-cut-scene-driven so-called RPGs.....

Three *old* old-school games that would just plain rock as motion pictures, even if they were the made-for-TV kind:

--Wizard of Wor. One of the *first* old-school maze-based shooters, you get one Halo-esque person going off against his Commanding Officer's orders to "surrender" (because he's *clearly* been brainwashed, brainwashed!) to fight against a massive, trashtalking horde of psychotic chimeric man-beasts and their enigmatic "wizards". Drooling alien monsters? Check. Cloaking alien hunters? Check. BFGs? Check. Massive multi-colored explosions? Sure, why not??? :D

This thing practically writes itself, even for twitching dyspraxic mastermind like Uwe Boll! It's practically bulletproof, because it is *the* generic alien invasion flick, ripping off EVERY cheesy sci-fi invasion since H.G. Wells wrote "War of the Worlds." (which was itself a kicking old-school game too!)

--Robotron 2084....first you do a new game, building outward from the old-school shooter core to include some more cinematic, survival-horrorish elements (and give those overworked thumbs a break, because that core shooter game is HARD!!), and then you do a movie that is basically an extrapolation of the new updated game: one part _Resident Evil_ movie, one part _Terminator_ film, only with multiple robots *and* human targets, three parts _Mad Max/Road Warrior_ film as you focus on the desperate 24/7 scramble of humanity to survive in the face of a relentless tsunami of robotic death and destruction that NEVER EVER STOPS FOR ONE BLOODY SECOND!! Gah....think really fast-paced, nasty zombie flick (only with rusty, hulking robots), only more Lovecraftian as people just plain realize, they're in a Meat Grinder and there just plain IS NO WAY OUT.

--Aww, shoot, I was going to say _Centipede_ but it's already been done, and it's called _Starship Troopers_. D'ohhh...lemme see.....

--OMG!! Now I know....SNK's first ever arcade release in the United States.....VANGUARD. :) This game already has _Star Trek_ ripoff written all over it though, giggling serpents aside....

There was a fantastic old PC game starring Clive Owen and Christopher Walken callen Wing Commander Privateer. It was already a bit of a movie and I think should definitely be one.
