it's about Jessica, who's 16. her mom wants her to live in Portland, while Jessica's parents move to Texas for a job. Jess goes to live with her dad's friend from high school, Kurt, and his 2 nephews, Peter and Tyson. Peter is calm and collected, and Tyson has a bad temper and is angered easily. they fight a lot, sometimes physically. peter is 17, tyson is 16, somehow they're in the same grade. peter looks out for Jess, like she's his sister, and she loves him for it. tyson secretly falls in love with Jess. what could happen with them? she lives with them for 4 years.

just 2 clarify... it's Peter and Tyson who fight a lot. like, Peter will take the TV remote from Tyson, who will snatch it back, and Peter will take it back and shove him off the couch, and Tyson will shove him off in turn, and it all leads into throwing punches, etc.

Wow, so many possibilities to this story...........
E-mail me if you want some great ideas!
However, here's one idea I had: Tyson and Jess start going out for some apparent reason (because Tyson is cute, might be a good excuse) and then because Tyson is so hot-headed, they argue a lot. They have fights which always leave Jess crying and seeking comfort in Peter, which angers Tyson. Then Peter could develop feelings for Jess and eventually fall in love with her. So now Jess will have to choose between Tyson, the misunderstood but oh-so-lovable hunk, or Peter, the caring and sensitive friend who is always there for her.
{Just wanted to say that once you're finished with it, you should publish it on www.quizilla.com, so other people can read it and give you feedback. I have many stories published there. You can look me up in users, trbabygirl}
Hope I helped!
P.S. You can email me for other ideas; I have many!

Well, the obvious start to the book would be for Jess to fall for Peter, and for Tyson to be angry because he's jealous, but to be surprisingly kind later on when they're alone. I'm assuming the physical fighting is between the brothers, not between Tyson and Jess. You could allow Jess to become engaged to Peter--a marriage that will be content and comfortable at best--but slowly realizing that there's more than contentment out there, especially when she's with Tyson. A later plot twist could be that she's betrayed by Peter in some way--not necessarily adultery, perhaps he wishes to push her farther than she wants to go, or perhaps he wants to restrict her to the role of housewife. Of course she would end up with Tyson, somehow...somehow he'd "save" her.
One problem you'd have to avoid is keeping your story from being something that's been done. It sounds similar to "To Catch a Unicorn" by Sara Seale.

Let's kick this up about 10 notches to keep from having a reinactment of The Partridge Family:
Jessica's mom has good reason for leaving Jess in Portland, and that is: she has no ability to cope with the emerging powers of her child. That's right, from the age of 2, Jess has been reading Mom and Dad's mail, spilling the beans of their most intimate thoughts, often in a manner that causes considerable embarrassment. For Mom, this is deja' vu, as her mother (Jess's grandmother) has the same ablility, and she grew up with considerable resentment from her percieved lack of privacy.
Now, what seems like a get-out-of-jail free card for Mom turns into a hot tamale for Kurt. Kurt is no angel. Jess, of course, realizes this in short order. It doesn't take her long to discern that Kurt and Mom are more than just "friends". This tension could have become insurmountable, until Jess uses her amazing insight to save his entire family by sensing impending disaster from a ruptured gas main in time to evacuate the home.
Peter is like his deceased mother; strong and gentle, and instinctively protective. He senses the incredible burden of Jess's gift, and doesn't mind being around her, in that his thoughts and deeds aren't anything he is ashamed to have revealed. Tyson, on the other hand, tends to be duplicitous like Kurt. He is often governed by his passions, and has fallen hard for the beautiful Jess. Unfortunately for him, this is no big secret. As a defense mechanism, Tyson developes a cool exterior and begins to hang with some spooky characters at school, very Goth and very wierd.
Before it is all said and done, Peter and Jess end up pulling Tyson away from the unsavory characters that have enveloped his life. In a spectacular scene, Jess confronts the leader of Tyson's group, and exposes the puny nature of his mental powers through her God-given abilities. Jess and Mom are eventually reconciled at the bedside of Jess's grandmother as she passes away. Now, finally, Jess and her mom begin to experience a mother/daughter relationship full of love and understanding, without borders. Oh, yea. Kurt gets his butt whipped soundly by Jess's dad.

Tyson gets injured in a bike accident and is in the hospital. Peter feels guilty about it because somehow he feels responsible, like maybe he's the one that told Tyson to get out after a big fight or something.
Jess feels bad for Tyson and starts to visit him in the hospital, seeing a softer side of Tyson softens up her feelings for him....
Okay is that a good start for your writers block?

tyson will catch peter and jess in bed together and he will beat the shi+ out of peter and call jess a whore. tyson will leave the room in a bout of frustration and head to the nearest titty bar. jess will attend to peter's wounds until peter suddenly dies in her arms. jess will then seek revenge on tyson. jess secretly trains with a martial arts instructor named Kim-Tsu. kim-tsu will teach jess every thing he knows in just two days. jess will then track down tyson and tie his hairy boys to an old swing set. tyson will cry and cry an cry until he finally apologizes for his misdeeds. jess accepts tyson's apology then kills him for being such an insensitive asshole. jess then realizes that she is alone, so she kills herself.
