The name Adolf is still used today, not only by Germans as there are many versions of this name for other cultures. Italy for example has the name Adolpho. The name Adolf is derived from the greek name Adelphotheos, which means Brother Of God.

Well, before WW2 there was several Hitlers living in New York, but afer WW2 there were none, coinsidence? i think not.

But yes there are people with the first name Adolf, and people with the surname Hitler, and i bet some neo nazi has changed his name to adolf hitler.

Adolf is though its a lot less common that it used to be. Hitler id bet most changed their name except nutty neo-nazis who had a name like smith and changed it to hitler.

Yes - I met a German guy named Adolf at a party a few years ago. He scored with my friend's gorgeous girlfriend, and now they are married. He's good-looking and filthy rich.

My friend really hates the name Adolf.

There are still quite a few examples of it around especially in germany. I remember being quite amused by a removals company with big vans with 'A. Hitler Umzuge' painted on the side in big letters..
