I'll be surprised if you get any answers other than "Kind of Blue". It's the jazz album by which all others are judged. John Coltrane has a couple of excellent albums, "A Love Supreme" and "Blue Train".

Miles Davis - Kind Of Blue is considered by most listeners and experts alike as the greatest jazz album of all time. I agree..
