Dutch, Germans, Scandinavians, French, Austrians, English, etc?
If they "mix" are they still "pure"?
I have noticed that other races have homogeneous characteristics, but whites vary a great deal: some are blond, others are redhead, brunnetes; some have brown eyes, blue, green, gray; some have wavy, curly or straight hair.

this question is really asked in a "tongue in cheek"
manner: " style of humor in which things are said only half seriously, or in a subtly mocking way."

Everyone is the same. There is no such thing as race. We are all like a leaf. We would be green in the summer, but in the fall all the colors are exposed. It is just the other pigments are hidden depending on where you live. We all came from Adam and Eve.

The way to answer this question, I think, is to locate each of the White ethnic groups on an FST chart that resolves them by gene frequencies. The Germanic White groups will probably form a cluster. The Romance language groups another. And others for Slavs and Balts, and so on.
I once had a copy of Cavalli S'Forza's "The History and Geography of Human Genes," and I used the genetic FST data there to determine that the Belgians had the smallest total genetic distance from the other White national groups. I assumed that meant they were the most central such group.
The Germans came in a close 2nd place, in terms of presumed centrality.
The White race is, genetically speaking, rather close-knit. Most of the White national groups form a tighter cluster than is true for, say, the African Blacks.
The White race does have outliers, however. The (modern) Greeks are several standard deviations from the Belgians, and the (modern) Iranians are even further out. I'd say that the region beginning just past the Greeks to just past the Iranians is about where the White race loses it's Whiteness.
You really don't need to emit squid ink to cover yourself for asking this kind of question. It was a good question.

Well, just like there is different skin colors among Mediterranean, Indians, and Africans, the "white people" are actually a mixed bag of races. The Scandinavians like the Lapps and the Icelanders tend to more pure going back further, but all groups had other cultures move in. The Eastern European cultures are more mixed because of the Asian steppe people migrating and the conflicts and intermarriages between tribes. I do not think that any race can be considered totally "pure" except some island nations in the Pacific.

Its not that other races do not have as drastic differences as whites because they do. In the United States the majority of the people have come from Europe giving us a wider variety of Europeans. The whites have been here for some time now that they have been able to mix traits. It all has to do with the dominate traits. Races that are not European have just as great differences the only problem from a United States citizen is that we have a small fraction of the actual great diversity. If you were to say live in Korea for a year and then move to Japan you would see a great difference in facial features and even skin tone even though there is just a small body of water that lies between them. You have to realize that all of the races that you have listed are all considered to be white. Though they are mixed between other Europeans they are all essentially still white.

Actually, although they are not an actual ethnic group I would say albinos should probably be considered the "whitest". As to the rest of your question I believe you will find differences in skin tone, hair color and texture as well as differences in eye color in every one of the main human groups, Caucasoid, *******, Oriental and Aboriginal.

Isn't it a hoot that there really are people who worry about racial purity...as if such a thing existed?
I prefer to categorize people in a way that has TRUE meaning: are they dog people, or cat people?
