I know that most people from Argentina are full-blooded Europeans. I am Colombian and I am a full-blooded European. I know there must be other people in South America [excluding the Argentines] who are only "White."

I know my geography, I meant European ancestry only. Ooooh and I just realized that my question is in the "Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgendered" category, haha. How do I change that?

Never mind, it's not in the "Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgendered"...I think.

Following WW2, many German Nazi-sympathizers sought a new start in South America. Therefore, many South Americans have European ancestry other than Spanish or Portugese.

I've heard that South America is the most racially and ethnically mixed/diverse region on the earth in terms of people having ancestry from virtually all major continents along with indigenous Indian ancestry.

first of all, all of South u . s . of america does not declare to have Spanish blood. Guyana, Surimane, etc all evaluate themselves Caribbean territories not 'spanish'. Spanish is mostly used interchangeably with Latino/Hispanic that's faulty. Spanish in common words represents a language and people of Spain or Spainards. Spainards should be considered white people the position as its extremely diff for Latino/Hispanic people till they are totally eu. people fail to comprehend that maximum people who're Latino or Hispanic are a blend of numerous cultures so its dumb to even make assumptions that someone's epidermis being mild or darkish determines some thing. Darker epidermis doesnt make the fellow a lot less hispanic because being latin isn't a race! Mexicans seem as if Indian because they are genuinely Indian. Dominicans can variety in seems yet have darker epidermis searching black or indian because they have that blood. Puerto Ricans can variety and look white often times and different situations 'blended' because they are blended!! epidermis colour ability not some thing, some features are purely extra dominant. verify out bi-racial people often seem as if black (likely hispanic) people which isn't that a procedures fetched yet it is purely an celebration. Brazillians are frequently considered to be of spanish descent because you've some blend besides as impact. maximum Brazillians communicate fluent Spanish and Portugese. it really is a effect of those communities taking up the land. in actuality, many Brazillians are often of a community-Brazillian or Indian historic past that's blended with eu/African. Lol, the 'black guy' on the crew is genuinely of blended historic past. he's Brazillian meaning likely area indian historic past.

I saw a chart on the internet which listed the proportions of full-europeans, mestizos, and natives in the various countries of South America. If you google 'mestizo', you might find it.
