There is no end, only a new beginning. When the life of a caterpillar ends, it begins its life as a butterfly. It is the same with us, when we end, we begin something new. It is a matter of individual belief as to exactly what that is. There are way too many to list here, but here are a few ideas.

A new life: Reincarnation
Heaven or hell: Christianity, Judaism, Satanism
Valhalla or Summerland: Norse mythology
The Fortunate Isles or Otherworld: Celtic mythology
Nothing: Atheism
Elysian fields or Tartarus: Greek mythology
Hades: Roman mythology
Unknown: Agnostic

There is no end. It's all just one big continuum, stretching to infinity. What we perceive as the end is simply the end of an interesting rest stop along the way.
