in past years there seems to have been one standard for excelence coined in the phraise "best thing since sliced bread", no one ever mentioned which kind of bread it was,,, it doesnt really matter at the moment, my question is: if our standard for excelence is sliced bread why haven't new technologies of harnessing the awsome power of sliced bread sprung up? i mean we only have the twist tie and that little plastic thing, i just want something to better encapsle our crowning achivement.

What's not to like about the awesome advancements to our culture brought about by sliced bread?

That's some serious thinking, but I thought they meant it was better than sliced bread when they use that phrase?
