Mine does and it drives me crazy. Once I got a pad of paper/pen and while I was trying to watch a rental called Polar Express I wrote down the time that anything was uttered out of his mouth(even a slight peep!)
The sheet of paper was full. Not 3 minutes went by the whole movie where I could listen to JUST the movie. His response when I showed him?
"Did you write down the times that you talked...he smiled!"
I'm holding on to that peice of paper incase I need it in the future!
Now what about your hunny? (Or it could be just someone that you know...)

i practice planned ignoring. usually it's the "hurry, come look at this" when i'm watching something i really want to see.

My mom gets on my last nerves with that. "Who's that person? Didn't they die already? Is that the bad guy?"
I think that if you're not going to pay attention you should find something else to do and leave the person actually watching alone. I love the woman to death but not while I'm watching tv.

My 16 year old son talks through movies, tv shows, your fav song.. anything. It drives me mad!

my brother and my mom talk all the time when i am watching a movie or reading a book, and it's SO annoying!!

no he does not but my daughter does. i try not to let it bother me because after all it is only a movie and she is a human being that deserves more attention..
