I am a pretty right wing person. I once told my best friend, who is a mixed up Dem, that I was surprised to learn that Attila the Hun was considered to be a right-winger, because from where I stand, I thought he was a bleeding heart liberal. Of course, I was joking, but my friend thought it was hilarious.
Here is my take on the right and on the left. They have both always existed. If you don't believe me, read Socrates and Plato, the right and the left. If you read Plato's Republic, you will recognize the works of Poi Pot and Stalin and others. Plato, in his Republic, admits subtly that it would be necessary to eliminate those who don't fit in, and that's what the left always does. (That's what they would do here if they could get away with it. Remember Waco.)
Alas, the right has been known to do that, too. Hitler is an example. Though thanks to our left-wing profs and journalists, they talk a lot about Hitler's 7 million dead, but somehow absent-mindedly forget to mention the 30 or more million slaughtered over the years in Russia.
We are all born liberal. I, blush, used to believe a lot of stuff that the left believes. Then, which is what distinguishes the right from the left, I put aside my THIS IS THE WAY THE WORLD SHOULD BE and entered the real world. In other words, we are all born liberal, and some of us grow up and others don't.
The sad truth, as I said above, is both sides do get carried away if they have absolute power. So, we really need both the left and the right to have strong political bases in the US, to keep the other side from messing up too much. For example, and this may anger fellow conservatives, but while I think Iraq is Bush' finest hour, I am livid that a president of the United States would claim the right to thrown anyone in jail with no charges filed, no right to see an attorney, and not even letting his family know where he is. If anyone doesn't agree with that, they really don't understand the U.S. Constitution.
Thus, Bush should have lost in 2004, period.
But, he didn't. Why? Because the Dems don't have any plans for the future. Listen to them. "ReaganwasbadReaganwasbadBushIwasbad
Bush1wasbadBushIIisbadBushIIisbad
RepublicansarestupidRepublicansarestupid.
They don't have any other platform, or seem to think they need one. Just trash any Republican they see, and they think they will get the votes. Plus, of course, the last economic platform they had was developed by FDR in the midst of a horrid depression, and they don't seem to realize the depression is gone. This week, someone whined here that Bush had destroyed the economy, and in reality the economy iis up all over the place. They also claim they represent morality and family values -- the problem is their idea of family is Adam and Steve as a married couple.
Come on, Dems, give us someone to vote for, don't just call us names.

Hahaha. I am copying and pasting your question everywhere I can. You have single-handedly proven why this country is falling apart right now. The words i DEMOCRATIC PARTY. The question should read:" Who here is an idiotic supporter of the Democrats or Democratic Party."
I am one of those idiotic supporters indeed. I am also quite positive that friends of the Elephant Party are humiliated by your obvious lack of education.
Well, come to think of it, Republicans have always relied upon the most uneducated and ignorant people in this country to get them elected back into office.
Thank god people seem to be waking up from a decades long slumber, and appear poised to give the Dems back the House of Reps this fall.
You really made my day with your question. Best of luck in all your future political endeavors.

well bob, you just made yourself look like an *** in front of the entire yahoo! answering nation.
Not only did you get only 1 positive response from your moronic question........but, please enlighten me and tell me what "democratism" is? Is that a word you just felt like making up like 20 minutes ago, in hopes that making up "creative" words would be the only thing that would be putting your Republican party on the map; I mean, other than rising gas prices, an unstable economy, benefits and pensions for ACTUAL hardworking Americans being cut.
Democracy, yes, we live in a country that has the privilage to have that......and Republicans support that as well.
Next time you ask such a question, put a brain cell into it and use a freaking dictionary. Damn, you're an embarassment to the Republican party......just like some other people I know.

LMAO, yup...you're a superstar! Write some more questions to show off your intelligence. Go ahead...do it!!
Democratism - the principles or spirit of a democracy.
Shouldn't all Americans be supporting that? Wow, didn't know supporting the principles and spirit of a democracy made me an idiot. Once again, LMAO.
**Note: Democratism is a word; just not the way he meant it.

"Democratism?" Yup, "W" must be your hero. Republicans should be ASHAMED for the douche bag they put into the White House. Reagan had more criminal investigations in his administration than Clinton, Daddy Bush sold weapons to Iraq before he invaded it, and this "W" shreds the Bill of Rights, but ya'll are still upset about someone getting a HUMMER in the Oval Office. GET YOUR EFFIN PRIORITIES STRAIGHT, YOU GODLESS LOSERS!!!!!!! Oh, and learn English.

No, it's not "democratism".....not "Democrat-ism" either.
Just to inform and educate you, the phrase you were searching for is "Who here is an idiot supporter of the Democratic party?", or ".......supporter of the Democrats?" would be acceptable as well.
Don't make up new words.....Leave that to the Commander-in-Chimp.
