I've travelled to a lot of places around the world, and found no place better that I'd care to live. The food is the best anywhere, and the freedoms, mostly from religious tyranny are better than elsewhere. I toured some European countries a few years back and if I never see another Church it will be too soon. Give me the Carlsbad Caverns, Grand Canyon or a million other attractions in America rather than stuffy old churches filled with ancient religious tyrannical histories any day of the week. We Americans are not stuck in the past as the rest of the world seems to be, or else we'd still be cowboys. The rest of the world just plain needs to grow up before they have the weapons to put us all back into the stone age.

I am a very proud American who wants to see my country saved for my children's children. I don't want my grandchildren to have to learn Spanish in order to get along. As a second language is great, but not to simply get by. Why am I proud? Because we have the only country in the world that is FOR THE PEOPLE, BY THE PEOPLE.

The list of good this country has done is endless. It would be impossible to begin listing all the reasons I'm proud to be an American.

When Englishmen are asked about a great tragedy, they say "Got to keep a stiff upper lip. Approach the problen step by step, and all that"

Frenchmen would say, "I am filled ennui about this terrible circumstance. It borders on feeling morose.

An American would look at you square in the eye and ask, "How can I help"?
