i usually just put it on my bottom lid...what is the best brand and should it be pencil or crayon? ( i need something that last through the day and doesn't smear)

i prefer pencil
it's easier to sharpen and keep and put on.
as for brand, that depends on you.
i don't use eyeliner often so i don't pay attention to that

Liquid eyeliner for the top lids and pencil for the lower lid. Lancome works fine for me...

I like Bare Escentuals liner shadow. It is a mineral powder and you can apply it with a liner brush either wet or dry. It looks so natural when applied dry and you can create a very fine line when used wet. Also, SmashBox creme eye liners are good but they will smear off if you rub your eyes.

I love the brand Mark (by Avon). They have a pencil that twists up with no sharpening and it doesn't smudge!

i find the best eye-liner to be also the cheapest.i buy wet n wild.its bettter then loreal.its soft enough not to gouge your eye and goes on smoothly.it only smears if you have the bad habit of touching your eyes or rubbing.

Smashbox cream liner is the BEST!!!! I swear by it, it STAYS put and doesn't smear but can easily be washed off with cleanser. Try it, it's worth every penny!!!!

i dont use eyeliner i mostly use eyeshadow, and i like mine smeared
