Someone said these bands were good, but listed them with Motley Crue ( I know disgusting music). I absolutly hate hair metal like Motley Crue so I don't wanna waste my time getting anything by the Scorpions or Krokus if they are hair metal bands.

The Scorpions were good (in the eighties - are they still around). Their singer was really good and they had great double leads. Much better than Motley Crue. I guess they were a "hair band" since they had long hair and played metal with melody (a style now called "pop metal").

Hair Metal Bands

Scorpions were around since the early 70's and really had nothing to do with that scene other than having some popular videos on MTV and playing melodic hard rock. That term should really be reserved for bands who were more about style and substance (like Poison) though that's in the eye of the beholder obviously.

I would possibly list Krokus as hair metal.
Scorpions were around before hair metal. They were popular around that time, but also before that brand of metal became popular. As a young band they were primarily hard rock with Uli Jon Roth as lead guitarist/song writer, but after his departure became a heavier group.

Bon Jovi is in all probability the better of that part of the evolution of heavy steel which got here to be standard as hair steel (I want pop steel). in line with a pair of your faves, surprisingly Kiss, i could say you're finding greater for basically 80s steel. track guy named some reliable acts- it fairly is been a on an identical time as sin ce I heard the call each mom's Nightmare- they are surprisingly plenty your "classic" heavy steel bands. alongside those traces, attempt those: April Wine Wildside Drivin' 'n Cryin' Lizzy Borden WASP Tesla Ratt ...and one throwback: candy cheers
