Better or worse than the first?

It's just as good as the first one and much funnier.

It was fun. I thought Johnny Depp looked too drunk/flambouyant but you could also say that overacting is part of the fun (like Shatner playing Kirk). The effects are good and I really liked the Davey Jones character (hybrid human/octopus). I would say it's just about the same quality as the first.

The first one was very slightly better overall but this one is a bit
funnier, in my opinion. Pretty much equal and I would heartily recommend it to just about anyone.
Really looking forward to the next one, especially since Keith Richards, upon whom Depp based his character (and totally nailed it!), has signed on to portray Captain Jack's father!

I thought it was a very good movie with great special effects I would give it Four Stars.

its more serious than the first, not as funny.
its a good movie though, you should see it.
maybe B+.

much better johnny depp got hotter and orlando bloom got uglier.
