Nope. No matter how unbearable the pain, how hard the road might get, how many obstacles you'll encounter along the way, there'll always be a new tomorrow. People die because they stop believing and lose the will to go on living. They die even while they are still physically present. If you give up too easy you'll never what's at the end of the tunnel.

Absolutely. I've seen it happen a couple of times. My wife's grandmother and grandfather were married for 65 years before he died. When she died, I think it was because she missed him so much that she just lost the will to go on. That's having a broken heart.

♥ yes I believe it is possible... but not just from some break up with a boyfriend.... but from like an old married couple thats been together for years and years and then one dies I think the other would probably die not to much longer from a broken heart. ♥

No you can't die from a broken heart. However you will feel like its the end of the world though. its not a good feeling and trust me I've been there and I don't ever want to feel like that again. The only advice I can give to you is this. Keep your head up high, cherish those memories and don't forget the good times you had. You will smile again. I promise you.

Actually yes. That's the history of my paternal grandparents. My grandmother, died of breast cancer at 50 in 1950 (Cancer was a death sentence then). My grandfather, who was 20 years older, died just 9 months later. He just lost the will to live at that point.
Two other examples: June Carter Cash and Johnny Cash, as they died within months of each other.

Not only is it possible but it has happened. I know a man whose wife got killed and within 3 months he also passed away. You could tell from his moods and actions his heart was broken from the loss of his wife. They were both in their middle 40's.
Yeah if you count those who have committed suicide over the loss of a lover or spouse.

I definatly think some people can get so emotional or upset about a relationship that they actually decide to end there life. It's a sad,sad thing...Also i guess someone could get really sick while having a broken heart and die.

Well its possible only in that one of the next scenerios happens:
1. The person broke up is depressed enough to kill oneself
2. The person is stressed out because of it and has high blood pressure or has heart problems causing them to die of a heart attack.
Thats about it.

I have read situations where either the man or woman survives the other, and shortly after they pass on. Perhaps it is because of a broken heart?
