White people make emo music. Music that the suicidal wrist slashing white teens listen to. I know clack people have the blues, and rap can be about how hard it is i the hood, but it seems to take a more "deal with it" mentality. Yet, white people live in better conditions. Why?

i never ever thought about it that way. i also compared the to. i see what you are saying that black people say that rap is about the hood and how they deal wit it and i see how white punk rockers talk about suicide and killing others. i rele don't know why i guess they just do that for money because teens these days like me will listen to any kind of crap. me personally i will listen to rap but not punk rock i think that it is totally emo and a waste of time

Dear god! I'm white, and I gotta say that if/when I ever make music, it will not be emo. I don't think of emo as music at all. I thought white people were best known for country music, whch is more happy than sad.

stop stereotyping people. if you really knew music, then you would know that many. many musicians in so-called white music are of other nationalities. The lead singer of Sevendust is black. All members of SOAD are Armenian, Members of Rage aren't white, ect.

dont know maybe because its a genartion thing because when slaves were tired and sick they had to deal with it so now thier rap is about dealing with it but white people are sterotyped into listening to rock, punk, and heavy metal becacuse they dont have those types of problems
