The hills have eyes was a bit freaky, not scary but freaky. I think you need to go with a full horror flick. I think the girl above is right. Try Asians horrors. I have seen most of them he mentioned and he is correct. DONT GET THE ENGLISH ONES. they suck. The originals are so much better. The eye was good, same as the grudge and the ring.

The Audition and Infection are creepy their are also some from the 70's-80's a few good ones are It's Alive,Black Christmas is shot pretty cool it's kinda like your the one killing everybody and then there's The Last House On The Left it's scary and gross it's been banned from certain countries you can check Borders.com for more info on them and others.

Try Scream (only the first one though- the others sucked), Halloween, Child's Play, The Exorcist... or for a good psychological thriller, try Silence of the Lambs... the list could go on...
