Go into your START menu and you will see an icon that
says MY COMPUTER. Click on that with the RIGHT mouse button and pick PROPERTIES. On the properties page, you will see how much RAM that you have in your system, as well as the version of Windows that you are running. So it might say Windows XP SP2. Sometimes this will tell you what type of Microprocessor your are using, and how fast it is. So it might say:
Intel(R) Pentium
(R) 4 CPI 3.00GHz
AT/AT COMPATIBLE
523,503 KB RAM
So you see, my configuration is a Pentium 4 at 3GHz and I have 523MB of RAM. (1000KB per MB)
Close the properties window.
Then go back and Double Click on the MY COMPUTER icon. You will see the drives that are plugged into your computer. RIGHT CLICK on the C drive and pick PROPERTIES. You will see how much disk space that is USED and how much is FREE.
Good luck
