One of the best anything movies ever. So cool. I never get sick of watching it. I went to a club last week which could have been straight off the rocky horror set. So much lush, glamorous, dirty fun. What a good night.

The really weird thing about Rocky Horror is how it attractes people from all walks of life. It's just fun and naughty and far out! Gays, bis, straights, bikers, preps, students, professionals, engineers, blue, pink and white collars, all there, in the audience, talking loud and dancing (a real taboo!). It's a celebration. Don't know what they're celebrating, but dang it, who cares?!
The issues don't matter there.

The movie is so-so, I saw the London company do a stage show of it in Chicago once in the late 80's, that was boring. I thought the best show was the audience at the Biograph...back in the day.

Not nearly. It IS a damn enjoyable movie, but it's got some great contenders, as described above, for "best". And no one even brought up Hedwig! (That movie gets a lot of hate). For that matter, "Saved" is kinda queer, and that was also pretty good.

Midnight showings of RHPS in Hollywood are the best. Very interactive, and fun. It's definitely something you should try if you haven't already, you'll be a bigger fan then ever.
