The Shinkansen (Japan Bullet Train) is the worlds first high speed train. Services started in 1964 with speeds at 210km/h or 131mph, the fastest trains went at the time, and many countries (including the USA) still have no trains running at this speed.

When the weather is good you can view Mount Fuji (Fuji-san).
A lot of times the weather isn't good.

The bullet train is the name for the Japanese high speed railway system call the (shinkansen) as already mentioned by another writer.

There is more than one bullet train and each of them has it's own name.
