Good question. Some people may be totally arrogant towards certain people. Others are just rude all together. Its really sad to see that in this day and age people still have to struggle against discrimination, Racism and cynicism. those people make the honest good people look bad.

I'm sure you didn't mean to but you are questioning why white people would generalize about black people and at the same time you are generalizing white people.
I have seen people of all races be either very cool or big jerks; I think it's a lot easier to categorize a group of people rather than individuals and people either just don't know or they forget that they should just handle each situation appropriately as it comes along. Personally I don't really understand racial intolerance and I think the bigger question is to figure out why people think that way to begin with.
One thing to remember is that people always justify their actions or feelings so I believe the big answer is to try and understand where the other person is coming from on an individual level.

probably for the same reason that black, yellow, red, blue, or green people make bad comments on whites because of their actions. Seriously it does not matter what your skin color is, if you are doing wrong or making bad choices, everyone will comment on it, not just white people. One of the reasons racism is such a big issue is because people can't just let it alone. Whatever color you one happens to be, if someone else of another color does something that is unacceptable in their eyes, well, out comes the R word.

Why is it that black people who have "answered" your question, don't actually answer it but make prejudiced statements about whites, thinking that all we wanna do is be like you. We don't. I'm white. I'm proud. I work for everything I have and don't complain. I was raised in California. All I heard growing up in my city was that I was the reason black people lived in crappy cities and that the black man couldn't get a job because of me. Well, let me tell you something. THIS IS AMERICA!!! If you work hard and pay your dues, you can live well. If you stop making excuses and blaming me and get off your lazy *** you can make it. I guess the reason white people like me make bad comments on blacks is because you blame me for not having a job, but then go on sitting down and don't try to get one. The same reason blacks make bad comments on whites. I am white and work in a place where I am the minority and you won't believe all the racial comments they say about the white people. I'm not there to make friends... I'm there to make money so I just keep my mouth shut.

I am a white New York City dweller - I believe that it is for an intuitive reason - racism. Not all racism is delberate and conscious. Everyone is raised in ways that instill ideas into our subconsciousness. Subconscious racism may persist in this generation and the next, but hopefully one day it will be culled out of the human perpetuation of knowledge.

Many white people are not even subconsciously racist, due to a good upbringing. Unfortunately there are plenty that have subconiscious and even conscious racism - Do you best to tolerate - you can teach a better lesson in tolerance than in violent reactions. I see what you speak of going on, I have done it myself and caught myself and asked 'why?'. Be strong, solace, you can succeed despite it.
