Wookies were serious @$$ kickers. Ewoks threw a few stones around. The whole Ewoks taking over the Empire's forces in Return of the Jedi was about the dumbest thing that Lucas ever wrote (besides Jar-Jar Binks).

Well, Ewoks are so cute and tiny and cuddly
and Wookies are also huggable and adorable

In a fight? Are you talking one-on-one or groups? One-on-one, definatly the Wookiee. It'd pick the ewok up and hang it on a tree branch and walk away, or rip it apart, or anything it chose. In groups, well, hire yourself some fuzz balls and find out!
