Sexist Commercial? You tell me,?

This guy is at the grocery checking out, and the cashier is ringing up his Tofu and healthy items.The guy behind him has a counter full of pork ribs and all kinds of meat. They look at each other kinda funny.All of a sudden the guy buying the health food runs out the store and jumps in his car and goes to a dealership and buys a new Hummer. At the end of the commercial it says : Get your Manhood back ! Now tell me, would you call that sexist? I mean really it has been proven that meat and animal fat clogs your arteries which causes blood loss to the veins. How is that damn Hummer going to give you your Manhood back when your Main vein ( & you know what you consider your main one is men) is not working because of a poor diet??

your question is addressed, the man who bought the health food ,bought the hummer. not the carnivore meat eater homo sapien, so i would question it ,and say take care of your self and what you eat, and the hummer will take care of you.then you can take care of other things! BTW i hope GM will put the duramax diesel in those hummers it would double their mileage. and reduce the co2 by 78%. I dont think it is sexist, but more a marketing ploy. :^()

IT'S only a commercial!! Yes, a stupid one, but a commercial! However, I don't think it's sexist, but probably just adhering to typical male roles; big,macho trucks, and fatty diets. I do not think it's sexist, but a proven fact that men are less apt to watch what they eat than women.How do you think it's sexist? Does the commercial take the angle that only women eat healthy foods, or that men are just big and stupid, and like meat and big toys?

Also, if a man can't get his "main vein" to work, who's to say it's not because of the woman that he comes home to and not his diet?

A hummer won't give your manhood back, it'll just make you look like an insecure middle-ager trying to recapture their youth by driving around a car that is significantly too big for them.

What does Meat and animal fats have to do with your ?-who r u to care what I eat drink smoke or drive if I am confident in my abilities? I can give a flying screw about tofu and what is good 4 me when it doesn't appeal to my TASTE. I smoke because I like the flavor-and because it offends you I don't smoke near you but in my own space-I Ravenously ate a STEAK today because it captured my savouring buds roubustly-I don't Drive because I believe the exhaust that comes from YOUR car is lethal to this planet and I know my walking everywhere I go is healthier than all the Tofu you consume-I also will sit in a room the size of YOUR GARAGE and promise to smoke one cigarette after the other for the continued duration of time that you will sit in your car in that same room AND DIE-You say smoking kills-what do U call it-this lil room around the world YOUR SMOKING CAR IS Doing-for every revolution of your engines 8 pistons intake Air and fuel and at 550 revs per minute you smoke more crap into the air than my whole carton of cigarettes will do in one week!(YES 1 Minute of CARBON MONOXIDE) My vein works exceptionally well and I can dip it into any tank to check the oil to see how full of sheeet some people really are! Yanta HA! I believe another reason I smoke is so that I celebrate the tradition of the Indian that smoked to say PEACE! That was a commercial for Trojan. I've only seen it a couple of times. Women are surrounded by a bunch of pigs in a bar. When a pig buys a Trojan, he turns into a man. I guess somebody complained about it.

No thats not sexist, they are simply trying to say that if you are doing things that are not considered "manly" no one will doubt you if you have a hummer. Also, i think you have way too much time on your hands to be analyzing this commercial so indept.

The question makes no reference to the female sex, it simply says that buying a Hummer staves of a lack of masculinity, not an onset of feminity.

I wouldn't call it as much a sexist commercial as I would a stupid one dealing with machismo issues. When I think of a sexist commercial I think of one that disses women. But I think you are right on your points; good food makes for better health and abilities.
