i just found out that amazon.com has some songs that will let you download for free. the whole song. but not every artist is available like that! i saw the THE VINES and JET had some songs for free.. check it out! but you might have to be a member like sign up to do it. check it out!

There are no free legal songs online.. All are illegal, but some are safer than the others. Anyway if u download songs online, there is a risk of been caught, the best way to limit the number of songs u download everyday, make it 1 per day, so it is safer

There is no free site that isn't illeagal.... But mp3 rocket is like 34.99 for unlimited downloads for life...

If you get you download then click and drag over into itunes then put on you ipod.

Independant/unsigned artisits often post thier music for free in an mp3 format which can play on an ipod. You can find alot of them on myspace.com

Support your local music and down with the RIAA.

Nowhere. All the legal sites charge money, and if you have an i-pod you can only use i-tunes anyway

Myspace band i think they have stuff for free download, and good variety... legal, im not sure. I would think so.

you can buy almost a whole album for only $1.66, or something like that, legally on www.allofmp3.com. you can find alotta different albums on that site
