I know it's pretty unlikely
for dreams to come true
And practical is logical
and fairy tales won't do
But I try to resist the pessimist
Obsess with the best
And I hope for the rest to come in excess
I keep my head held high
My hopes in the sky
And phony friends in disguise
Close to my eye
I like to smile bright
Fight when theirs fright
And live a lie of a life
that I hope to survive
Cuz it's too unlikely
for dreams to come true
