I keep them but put them away seperately. But, I keep them private so as not to offend anyone. Pix are a snapshot in time and when they were together it was that moment in time. Probably good at that time. So, no point in destroying them. I have even kept my pix of guys (incl. my ex-husband) I'm not with anymore (except the one used for the ceremonial bonfire!). It was just happier times and now if I do go back and look at them, it's not so bad.

That's a poser...if they have kids keep them till they're old enough to take them. The children will appreciate having pictures of their parents together. If there's no kids, do what I did, which was to make a scrapbook page utilizing different size pics and shapes so I could disguise the fact I cut a picture in two. If that doesn't work then pack 'em up and keep them for posterity.

You can throw them away if you want to....but I tend to be more sentimental and would probably keep them - just so when I look back on the photo albums I can remember how happy they used to be. It was hard for me to throw away pictures of my exes when I got married - but my husband didn't have any pictures of his so I felt like it was the right thing to do. Plus, I didn't want him flipping open a photo album and demanding, "Who's that?" It depends on who the people are. I've known people after a divorce who cut the one person out and kept the other :)

Thats a real good question..especially when either one in the picture still come around. I'd say just put them away in a album. You can't erase time. After my divorce and I got remarried to another man I went through all the albums and made albums for my children from my first husband..all pictures of him went in there albums..even if it were a picture of the two of us together. My teenagers now love looking through them and I will give the albums to them when they are older.

The pictures signify memories. Usually of happier times. Relationships change through the years, as do emotions. Hold on to em'. The people in those pics could be gone tomorrow.

The pictures belong to you, so do with them what you wish. If you still like these people, keep them. If you don't, toss them in the trash. I have pictures of divorced friends. Those pictures were taken and memories made while they were married, so you shouldn't feel obligated to toss the photos just because they tossed the marriage.

Well, That depends on your relationship with one or the other.
If one is a close family member or friend, collect them all in an album. Keep it until you think it's time to give it to the person. That may not be for years. If there are children involved, keep it until they are older. Memories that hurt today may become precious later in life.
If neither person is particularly close, throw them away.

I have thrown out pictures of me with exes but if it is someone in the picture with their ex I have kept them, I just don't make a habit of showing those to anyone, perhaps keep them in another box.

I just leave them in my scrapbook. I figure they were married, and it's a part of history. To avoid hurting people's feelings, I usually take them down off my walls, though, replacing them with other pictures of them separately, or just kids, or something.

I keep them. I am the family genealogist and despite all that happen it is part of the family history. When my brother divorced neither he nor his ex wife wanted any of the pictures so they asked if I would keep them because neither really wanted to destroy them either.
