My wife is practicing for her drivers test and I need to know the dimentions of a parallel parking space to help her practice.

it's a little over a car length. ;)

ok, you want to help her, good on you. Get 2 cones and set them the length of her car plus about 2 feet on each end. That's tight enough to begin. Practice. Then move 'em a little closer...keep challenging her. This will work well if you try it. This will be more difficult than what the DMV throws at her at test time. You want her to do well, or just pass? Hope you can see the importance of this...its her safety! and ours too...

It is exactly as long as my truck only thing is , I do not know how many feet that is. But if there are any ford super cab trucks with an eight foot bed in your neighborhood you can measure it and find out.

You can look it up on your state's DMV website.. in NJ it's about 28 feet.
