Almost all the players in the team are black, except for Zidane,Bartez and Riberi, what happened to the real French citizens?

I think that teams like Germany, Italy and Spain are Better, becouse they reflect the majority of the people in that country, and have the same appearence, as most people do. The people cheering for French in the Stadiums were almost all white, its just a big contrast.

Well, they are French citizens too. Most of them were even born in France. And whoever was born in France is automatically French.

Good observation.
Below are the reasons I believe the "French national team look like Cameroon"
1. France had colonized a few African countries such as Senegal and Algeria (where Zidan's parents are from). After the colonies got their independence from France around 1960, many Africans who lived in these French colonies immigrated to France...Hence France became much more multicultural than the other European Colonizers. Therefore it is of no surprize to see blacks and arabs in the French national football team.
2. The beauty of football is that anyone can play it. It is not an expensive sport unlike golf, cricket, ice hockey, polo,....and even basketball. All you need to play football is a ball and a flat field and friends. That's it. Just as in the many parts of the poor world where football is popular, it is also popular in the poor neighborhoods of Europe. Zidane and many of the French football squad grew up in poor French neighborhoods playing football day in and day out. When it came to choosing a world cup squad, France picked the best of the best regardless of their color, origin, and religion as long as they were French. Look at Brazil's football team. You will see a similarity. I hope this answers your observation. I am an African myself and I was hoping that France would win the World Cup because their team reflects the beauty of football: Unity and Love.

You're stupid!!!!!!! To play for the French team you have to be a French Citizen and they come in more than one color. Zidane is the son of Algerian immigrants so he's an Arab not white. I wonder how American Indians feel when they see US teams representing this country with no American Indian who are the only true Americans on the team. Remember everyone else is the descendant of a foreigner. Besides, best players play, I guess the whites just weren't GOOD ENOUGH. Enough said.

Why does this matter to you? I've read some of your previous answers and have found out exactly what I thought. You're an ignorant racist. You're Italian but don't live in Italy so I'm assuming you live in North America. You stated that you don't want black people in Italy and that you don't want them being part of the Azzurri.
I think you're a complete moron if you don't understand that all the black players you see on the France team ARE French citizens. And there are tons of Italians that would cringe at the things that you write. You are a disgrace to your Italian heritage.

I guess the French realized that having a team with the best players is the way to go. Evidently, since France has many immigrants, some of them will be the best players around. The same applies in the US; just look at the NBA; ALL the players are African-Americans. Lets face it; the Africans are just generally very talented in sports (and in many other things as well).

All the players are REAL French citizens (maybe not according to the criteria defined in Mein Kampf, but according to the French tradition and to the French laws).
Only 3 French players out of the 23 are born in a foreign country (Makelele, Viera, Boumsong). They 20 others are French born in France.

Good observation. I noticed it too. White French fans and yet a team of French colonials. Perhaps their own home grown talent is in a bit of a glut. France 2006 looks a whole lot different from France 1998.

You sound just like your stupid president didn't know it had black people in Brazil.

every time i make refference between France and usa team basket, from 4 to 5generation birth in the west ,having any links with their origin contries, it seems oddy for french people who in 1982 saw 3 blacks playing for the cocks: tigana, janvianand marius trésor. after 1998 the black community began to grow amid the team France, from 3 players in 1998 to 8 or 9 in 2003... it was unusual for many people ...by the way Zidane in spite of being such an european ,shall be considered as a black or a foreigner , already platini is an italian, but he was a french Citizen , luis fernandez was origin from spain, trezéguet is an argentinian, djorkaeef is an arminian of ex rebublic of ussr, it means France which is farther in the camp of israel in the side of religion, has never played with an israelit from origin, the jew community is greater in France but i have never heard about an israelit footballer famous...!.,? overall, the blacks invade the team France , among from 15,17,20 years old.france youth teams..twenty blacks could be counted in there.
